Zara's Pasta Production was established in 1994 by Giovanni Zara, a member of the esteemed Zara family from Northern Italy. The aim was to provide high-quality, great-tasting pasta and sauces for Zara’s Italian Deli in Granville Island Public Market. Since then, our goal has remained consistent: to create fresh, exceptional Italian pastas and sauces, free from artificial additives or preservatives. 

Under Mr. Zara's guidance, our artisanal approach thrived, earning us a respected reputation as producers of gourmet pasta in Vancouver. Today, continuing our tradition of excellence, Zara’s Pasta Production supplies not only Zara’s Italian Deli but also an expanding clientele, including many other delicatessens, hotels, and restaurants in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and Okanagan regions. 

Currently, Zara’s Pasta Production is proudly owned and operated by Mr. Franco and his wife, Yoselin. Our commitment remains steadfast: making delicious gourmet pastas and sauces using only the finest natural ingredients, while delivering exceptional customer service.

To meet growing demand in the late 1990s, José Franco joined the team, quickly becoming an invaluable asset. With Mr. Zara's mentorship, Mr. Franco refined his skills, poised to carry forward the esteemed legacy for years to come.

From our humble beginnings in a small warehouse in North Vancouver, we have grown to occupy an impressive 8,000-square-foot facility in Port Coquitlam. This expansion owes its success to the unwavering dedication of every member of the Zara's Pasta Production team, who play a vital role in our mission to deliver the finest quality products.
